Looking for a movie from a very vague description?

I apologise that this is the only detail i can provide for the movie i'm looking for but in one scene a young girl, (although she could have been early teens), is sitting on a bus/tram and a man holding gold dust is blowing some into the air for her before the bus crashes. that particular scene ends with the young girl on the floor of the crashed bus/tram sort of posed and gold dust surrounding her. if it helps the title of the film may have been an "A". it was on australian television a few months ago.
